The story

A new name on an old crew

SM Infra was registered in October 2024, a partnership between Subhash Pachar and Manjeet Singh with its office at Meja Khas in Prayagraj, close to where most of the work now is.

The work itself goes back to 2000, when JSS Construction Company started small crusher and mining work in Taranagar, in Rajasthan's Churu district. In 2015 that business became Sansar Infra LLP, and within a year it was working for PNC Infratech on the Srisailam Canal in Andhra Pradesh, more than a thousand kilometres from home. Every package on this site from before October 2024 was delivered under that name, and is credited to it.

Today there are eight sites running at once across Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, six plants rated for up to 6,00,000 tonnes a month.

The partners

Subhash Pachar

Subhash Pachar

Founding Partner

Contracts, client accounts and moving plant between states. If a project manager wants a rate, a lead distance or a delivery date defended, this is the call.

Manjeet Singh

Manjeet Singh

Founding Partner

Runs plant deployment and site operations, and signs off every plant commissioning on the ground.

How we work

Four things we actually do differently

01

We own the machines

Every excavator, tipper, drill and plant. It costs more to sit on than hiring does, and it is why we can commit to a programme instead of quoting on the hope of finding machines in season.

02

We say the mobilisation number before you sign

About a month on a site with reasonable access. If your site is not that, we will tell you at the survey rather than three weeks into a delay.

03

We weigh everything

Ten calibrated weighbridges. Dispatch weight is the billed weight and the slip goes with the load. Reconciliation should be arithmetic, not a meeting.

04

The safety officer can stop the job

Licensed shotfirers, exclusion zones, vibration monitoring on every shot. The authority to stop work is real and nobody on our side overrules it.
